Barinder Rasode
Co-Founder & CEO
Barinder Rasode is the Co-Founder and CEO of Tersa Earth Innovations, a mining cleantech company focused on healing the earth while unlocking critical metals for the energy transition. As a former Surrey City Councillor and Fraser Health board member, and the co-founder of SheTalks, HAVN Life Sciences, and Kyn Biosciences, she is widely recognized for her leadership in public service, entrepreneurship, and women's empowerment.

Stewart is a prominent commentator on natural resource issues, with experience working with mining, energy, and forestry sectors. He is a serial entrepreneur and founder of Resource Works Society, a leading Canadian advocacy group for responsible resource development.

Anthony Paterson
Executive Board Chair
Anthony Paterson is an experienced executive specializing in financing, business development, and operations, with a focus on early-stage investments in life sciences and natural resource sectors. He has played a key role in supporting companies through critical growth phases, including as a financing partner in the initial structuring of Prime Mining Corp. (TSX: PRYM). He is also the co-founder of West Point Gold Inc. (TSX-V: WPG).
Glen Clark
Board Member
Glen Clark has decades of accomplishments in business leadership. He was previously at The Jim Pattison Group for over 22 years, serving as President and COO, and is a board member of Westshore Terminals Investment Corporation and Canfor Corporation. Prior to his corporate roles, Mr. Clark served as Premier of British Columbia, Minister of Finance and Corporate Relations, and Minister of Employment and Investment.
Victor Cantore

Victor is a capital markets expert with 20+ years of experience in resource and high-tech sectors. He has led and advised on equity and debt financings, M&A, joint ventures, and strategic alliances. He serves on several private and public company boards.
Gerry Protti
Board Member
Gerry serves as Chair of the Board of Directors at the Macdonald-Laurier Institute (MLI), a non-partisan Ottawa-based think tank. He focuses on advancing public policy research and fostering dialogue on economic and societal issues, promoting democratic values, the rule of law, and Canada's economic growth. As President of Collaborative Canadian Energy Solutions, he shapes policies that drive innovation and investment in energy and environmental initiatives aligned with Canada's priorities.

Protiva Roy, Ph.D.
Electrochemical Process Engineer
Protiva is the electrochemical process engineer at Tersa, who joined in April 2022. Her focus is to continuously improve the performance of the microbial fuel cell (MFC) and improve metal recovery rates within the fuel cell. During her PhD from Tokyo Institute of Technology, she worked on developing electrochemical biosensors for neurotransmitters, with additional experience in pathogen biosensors, solid phase peptide synthesis, and synthesis of plant cannabinoids by metabolic engineering at UBC.

Nikhil Pradhan
Research Associate
Nikhil is a research professional with a Master's in Biochemistry and expertise in microbial nanotechnology, electrochemical systems, and data analytics. He focuses on advancing Microbial Fuel Cell performance through innovative experimental design and Python-based analytics, helping drive scalable clean energy solutions at the intersection of biotechnology and electrochemistry.

Md. Al Imran, Ph.D.
MICP Lead
Imran is a Sustainable Resources Engineer specializing in biocementation and nature-based solutions for environmental and mining challenges. With a Ph.D. from Hokkaido University, he brings deep expertise in low-carbon cement, bio-cement, self-healing concrete, and soil stabilization technologies.

Josh Erickson
Chief Technology Officer
Josh Erickson is Co-Owner and CTO of MFC Mining Innovation Company, where he leads the development and deployment of advanced technologies that improve safety, efficiency, and performance in the mining sector. He holds a B.Eng in Electrical Engineering with specialization in Robotics Controls and Power Electronics.

Natalie Moreno
Project Manager
Natalie joined Tersa in December 2025 and coordinates activities across internal teams and external partners to ensure milestones, deliverables, and reporting requirements are achieved. Prior to Tersa, she served as Regional Environmental Manager for the 2010 Olympic Games and Sustainability Manager at Red River College.

Earl Oliver, Ph.D.
Director of Technology
A seasoned technology executive with deep expertise in software systems, SaaS platforms, fintech, and data-driven applications. He has led the design and scaling of complex, high-performance systems in both startup and regulated environments. Dr. Oliver holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Waterloo.
Vix Roy
Stakeholder Management & Marketing Co-op
Vix is a UBC Political Science student completing a co-op work term with Tersa Earth, managing communications, stakeholder engagement, and social media. They are actively involved in campus politics and hold volunteer and paid positions in political communications across several levels of government.
